Anita Vogel-Drentlaw – Bank President
I have been in the banking industry since 2000, spending the first two years serving community banks as a public accountant before joining New Market Bank. I took over the presidency from my father, Bob Vogel, in 2014 and, along with my sister, am proud to be the fourth generation in our bank. I love community banking and the overall goal of serving our customers and the community. Banking has been a challenging industry the last several years so being able to say we are a family-owned, community bank is unique. I look forward to continuing the relationships my Great-Grandfather, Grandfather and Father have formed as well as making new ones.
What I really enjoy about working at New Market Bank is both the customers and the other employees. It is great to be able to visit with customers that stop in or play with their kids when they are trying to get business done with someone else. We have a good time as co-workers as well whether it is participating in an event, attending an employee event or making each others days in various ways. Outside of the bank I love to spend time with my family, dancing, reading, scrapbooking, volunteering at my daughter’s classrooms and building spreadsheets!
Bob Vogel – Board Chairman
After graduating from college in 1973, I worked at another bank for a few years. I came to work for my father at New Market Bank in 1975. In 1978, I purchased his interest in the insurance agency. He then decided to semi-retire in 1981 and I purchased his shares in the bank and until recently have been the bank’s CEO. From 2002 to 2008 I served on the Scott County Board of Commissioners and currently am the Chair for the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee. Over the past 30 years I've had the opportunity to serve on a variety of civic and volunteer committees. In my free time I enjoy going up to the cabin with my family, and playing with my two Granddaughters.
Dan Ringstad – Senior Vice President
I started at New Market Bank in 1986. I work out of the Kenrick Corner office and handle real estate and commercial lending along with business development. I am a member of the Rotary Club and involved in different community projects. In my free time I enjoy playing baseball and watching sports with my family and friends.
Joe Julius - Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager/Commercial Lender
I am the Commercial Banker at our Kenrick Corner office in Lakeville. I started banking in 1998 and came to New Market Bank in 2012. I come from a family of small business owners which provides me with the insight needed to understand the challenges facing small business owners. Working at New Market Bank, I enjoy the close proximity to all aspects of the bank. From loan operations, to bookkeeping, to management, everyone here is very accessible and eager to help. Outside of the bank I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, and watching and playing sports.
Karen Vogel-Ramola – Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager/Lender
I am proud to say that I am the fourth generation at New Market Bank. I started my full time career at New Market Bank in 2005. I am the Branch Manager of our New Market office helping our customers with opening new accounts and consumer lending needs. I also concentrate on the bank's marketing items. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and scrapbooking with family and friends.
Robin Martin – Senior Operations Assistant
I have been working at NMB for over 15 years. I currently work in Operations Dept at the New Market Office as a Senior Operations Assistant. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my Grandchildren, camping and going to NASCAR races.
Terra Henry - Loan Operations Administrator
I am the Loan Operations Administrator at our Lake Marion branch. I originally started in banking in 1998 until 2003 when I became a stay at home mom. I came back to banking at New Market Bank in 2013. I enjoy working here because of my coworkers and because of the appreciation the bank shows to it’s employees and customers. Having worked at larger banks in the past, I know what it’s like now to not be just a number here. When not at work I enjoy going to our cabin, relaxing and playing “mom” to my three children.
Joanne Wagner – Customer Service Specialist/Lead Teller
My banking career began in 1972 as a part-time teller in Lakeville for a Savings & Loan. Following that period, my husband and I operated a dairy farm for 23 years while raising our four children. I came back to banking once again in 2001 in my current head teller position at the Lake Marion in Lakeville. I thoroughly enjoy visiting with and meeting new and current customers alike, learning about their families, vacations, etc. Any free time is spent with my husband, Tom, our four children and grandchildren traveling, gardening, church activities, and friends. Stop in anytime to visit and get to know us.
